**Description du poste**
Travaille en étroite collaboration avec la direction des RH et des relations de travail, ainsi qu'avec les gestionnaires opérationnels, pour fournir des conseils juridiques quotidiens en droit du travail et de l'emploi. Représente l'entreprise devant les instances fédérales, provinciales et municipales, lors de procédures judiciaires, d'arbitrages, de médiations et de négociations collectives.
**Responsabilités principales**
+ Négociateur principal lors des négociations collectives avec divers syndicats.
+ Représentation de l'entreprise lors d'arbitrages, médiations et devant les commissions du travail et tribunaux des droits de la personne.
+ Conseil quotidien à la direction sur les lois, règlements, politiques et procédures RH.
+ Gestion des réclamations et litiges liés à l'emploi, élaboration de stratégies de défense ou de règlement.
+ Suivi et communication des changements législatifs en droit du travail.
+ Maintien de rapports précis et ponctuels sur les activités juridiques.
+ Collaboration avec les équipes RH, Opérations et Finances pour la préparation stratégique des négociations collectives.
+ Participation à la planification de contingence en cas de conflit de travail.
**Formation**
+ Diplôme en droit
+ Membre en règle du barreau
**Expérience et compétences**
+ Expérience en droit du travail et de l'emploi
+ Expérience en négociation collective et arbitrage
+ Bilinguisme (français et anglais)
+ Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite
+ Maîtrise des outils informatiques
+ Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités, à travailler de manière autonome et en équipe
+ Sens de l'organisation, diplomatie, flexibilité
**Conditions de travail**
+ Poste en télétravail avec déplacements jusqu'à 75 %

**Job Description Summary**
The Labor and Employment Lawyer is a key member of the Labor Relations and HR team, providing hands-on legal guidance and representing the company in collective bargaining, legal proceedings, and regulatory matters. You will work closely with HR leadership and operational teams to advise on labor and employment law issues.
**Major Responsibilities**
+ Serve as chief negotiator in collective bargaining with various unions
+ Represent the company in arbitrations, mediations, labor boards, and human rights tribunals
+ Provide daily legal guidance on labor laws, policies, and procedures
+ Manage employment-related claims and litigation, develop defense or settlement strategies
+ Monitor and communicate changes in labor legislation
+ Maintain accurate and timely reporting on legal matters
+ Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Finance teams on collective bargaining strategy
+ Support contingency planning in case of labor disputes
**Education**
+ Law degree
+ Member of the Bar
**Experience and Skills**
+ Experience in labor and employment law
+ Proven experience in collective bargaining and arbitration
+ Fully bilingual in French and English
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Proficient in computer tools
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively
+ Strong organizational skills, diplomacy, and flexibility
**Working Conditions**
+ Remote position with travel up to 75%
