**Overview** **California Rehabilitation Institute** ***A partnership between Cedars-Sinai, UCLA Health and Select Medical*** Century City / Los Angeles, CA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Per Diem Nights 7:00pm - 7:30am **** Pay Rate $25.00, plus night shift differential**** **Benefits of becoming a CNA us:** + Flexible scheduling with rotating weekends + Manageable caseloads + A high percentage of patients being discharged home + Team-oriented and family-like culture + A network of over 50,000 employees nationwide with advancement and relocation opportunities + Full-benefits package for full-time employees (including medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, short and long term disability, and tuition assistance and professional development) **Responsibilities** **Position Summary** Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assists patients in the rehabilitation process through provision of appropriate nursing care as well as carryover of rehabilitation techniques. **Duties** + Obtains vital signs as directed + Answer call lights promptly and report problems to a primary nurse/designee + Assist with monitoring diets and nutritional supplements, as well as providing appropriate cues to patients for feeding or swallowing once directed by speech or occupational therapist + Assists nurse with patient admissions, transfers and discharges **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications** + Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred + Previous hospital experience preferred + Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate + BLS - American Heart Association **Additional Data** **California Rehabilitation Institute** a 138-bed facility offers patients a higher degree of excellence in medical rehabilitation.
