Houseman Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, reliable houseman to join our team. The houseman will provide general cleaning, maintenance, and repair services for our residential facility. The houseman will ensure the facility is kept in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. This position requires a hard-working individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.

Houseman Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the facility, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and scrubbing
• Perform minor repairs such as fix leaky faucets, replace light bulbs, and unclog toilets
• Ensure all facility areas are clean and safe for residents and visitors
• Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, pruning, and weeding
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture, equipment, and other materials for events
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as cleaning products, paper towels, and toilet paper

Houseman Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Able to work independently without supervision
